Hi guy's,
I was wondering if the committee might consider looking into organising a trip for interested club members to the 2012 London Olympic archery shooting competion phases?
Would be a great experience to see the professionals in person battle it out during the BIG one!!

7.7 million tickets will be available for the Olympic Games, with another 1.5m for the Paralympic Games. Tickets for both events will go on sale from 2011. We shall definitely be applying for tickets for Club Members closer to that date!

The Committee has contacted Archery GB regarding the availability of Olympic Tickets for Archery Clubs. Unfortunately the answer was that all tickets would have to be applied for through http://www.ticketmaster.co.uk when they go on sale in 2011 - this is really bad news as many members of archery clubs will miss out. Such a pity that the Olympic Board couldn't be bothered to put in a little more effort for us archers especially since we are the host nation . All we can do is keep a sharp look out for tickets when they go on sale and grab as many as we can!
